I will be appearing at CARTOON CROSSROADS COLUMBUS (CXC 2019) and the MASSACHUSETTS INDEPENDENT COMICS EXPO (MICE 2019) this Fall! I'll have a lot of my comics for sale as well as small paintings and prints. I'll also have two free mini comics to give away.

CARTOON CROSSROADS COLUMBUS (CXC 2019) will be on Saturday and Sunday, September 28 & 29, 2019, at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 96 South Grant Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. It's a free event with plenty of free parking in the Library's garage. This will be my third appearance at CXC (I was at their first show in 2015)!

The MASSACHUSETTS INDEPENDENT COMICS EXPO (MICE 2019) will be on Saturday and Sunday, October 19 & 20, 2019, at at the University Hall at Lesley University, 1815 Massachusetts Ave (Porter Sq.), Cambridge, Massachusetts. It's a free event. This will be my first appearance at MICE!

I am also hoping to appear at one more show by the end of the year. Stay tuned!

Yo - - I have several new publications lined up for Fall 2019 and available for preorder on my STORE page!

First off, MY OWN PETARD #6  (color cover/two-color interior, 24 page comic book), Features a six page lead story, "Frankly," as Benjamin Franklin and two French Cortisans take a swim in the river on a very hot summer day, and a ten page story featuring the return of Ant Pini who talks to kids about cancer, as well as 2 two-page shorts and art based on my recent paintings.

Also the long awaited publication of the SCHUYLKILL PUNCH Comics Anthology - a 40 page, two-color (Risofedreal Blue & Fluorescent Pink) Risograph publication featuring ten of Philadelphia's finest cartoonists: Anuj Shresta, Terry LaBan, Dre Grigoropol, Steve Teare, Bob Pistilli, Cyn Why?, Tommy Hansen, Ian Harker, Lance Hansen and yours truly. I edited it and contribute a 10 page story about my year dealing with cancer as well as the wrap-around cover. Only 100 copies are available. Grab one!

I will also have a new two-color Risograph edition of MY OWN PETARD #5
and a mini comic, THE F-HAND, available later in the fall.

I'm going to be at this year's FREE LIBRARY OF PHILADELPHIA COMIC CON on Saturday, May 11th - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM! The fifth annual event will be held at the Parkway Central Library, 1901 Vine Street (between 19th and 20th streets on the Parkway), Philadelphia PA.

The event is FREE but it may be best to register here to attend (Maximum occupancy is 500 people and registered attendees will be favored). Also the long awaited publication of the SCHUYLKILL PUNCH Comics Anthology - a 40 page, two-color Risograph publication featuring ten of Philadelphia's finest cartoonists. I edited it and contribute a 10 page story about my year dealing with cancer as well as a wrap-around cover.

I also have three issues of the ABLAZE series - color covers/B&W line & tone interior, 36 pages each - a collection of my sketchbook drawings. Each issue contains an original two-color drawing! Take a glimpse inside my unencumbered mind!

Yo - - I am teaching my COMICS & CARTOONING BASICS class again this spring via the MOUNT AIRY LEARNING TREE (MALT). The class is five sessions, Thursday evenings, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The class begins MAY 3rd and runs through MAY 31st at the Blair Christian Academy in Northwest Philadelphia. The class fee is $99.
