I am a cartoonist, illustrator and graphic designer with a BFA in Illustration/Graphic Design from the Tyler School of Art. I have produced hundreds of covers, comics and illustrations for numerous publications such as PHILADELPHIA CITY PAPER, PHILADELPHIA WEEKLY, NEW YORK PRESS, THE COMICS JOURNAL, SCREW and PSYCHOLOGY TODAY. I received a grant from the Xeric Foundation to publish my comic book SPUD COMICS. I was the co-creator, editor, and art director of the PHINKWELL comics collective as well as producing the web comic, MY OWN PETARD. I was the organizer of the PHILLY COMIX JAM during its early years. I created the cover and served as judge for PHILADELPHIA CITY PAPER’s 2011 ”Comics Issue.” Recently, I have been teaching comics via the Mount Airy Learning Tree. I recently edited the SCHULYKILL PUNCH 2-color Risograph comics anthology featuring ten Philadelphia cartoonists. I live with my wife and two cats in the beautiful Roxborough section of Philadelphia PA - USA.
